Voltz Global Foundation, established in Curaçao, operates the platform Voltz (the “Platform”), including the Voltz mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Data We Collect
- Personal details: Name, email, phone number, account details.
- Platform activity: Volunteer activities, NPO/company interactions, rewards earned.
- Technical information: IP address, device, browser type, usage logs.
- Camera / photos: When you choose to take a check-in or check-out photo to verify your service.
- Location (precise / GPS): When you grant permission, the Voltz app collects your device location.
How the Voltz app uses your location
The Voltz mobile app accesses your device’s precise (GPS) location only while the app is open and in use (foreground), for these purposes:
- Event check-in / check-out: when you tap “Check in” or “Check out” at a volunteering event, we capture your location at that moment to verify your attendance at the event site.
- Nearby opportunities: to sort and show volunteering events near you.
Voltz does not collect, track, or store your location in the background, and does not use location for advertising. Location is only captured at the moment you perform a location-based action. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; location-dependent features such as check-in will then be unavailable.
2. Use of Data
- Provide, secure, and improve our Platform.
- Connect volunteers, NPOs, and companies.
- Verify event attendance via foreground location at check-in/out, and show nearby volunteering opportunities.
- Issue and manage Voltz rewards.
- Communicate updates, support, and offers (with your consent where required).
- Fulfill legal and compliance obligations.
3. Sharing of Data
- NPOs and companies you engage with.
- Service providers supporting our operations (hosting, IT, analytics, communications).
- Regulators, courts, or authorities when required by law.
- Successors in case of a merger, acquisition, or transfer.
We never sell your personal data, and we do not share your location data with third parties for advertising.
4. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data against unauthorized access or misuse.

- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
